Christmas Nails 2011-Part 1

The Mystery of the Kitchen Sponge

Edited the post to start it off with a Ruffie Comic. Yes, it’s that time of the year again.

I’ve made and sent out my Christmas cards.

Here’s a take on Christmas nails, blue and white instead of the traditional red and green.

Blue base (Etude House) and sponged on white acrylic paint. All done in 15 minutes.

Christmas cards, always handmade, addresses all handwritten and always posted by snail mail. I have friends who asked me to pass it to them when I’m meeting them. One of them even suggested for me to email a pdf of the card!

Don’t you find that its nice to receive something personal in the mailbox other than bills or flyers?

Anyways, photos on the making of the cards…some years, the cards are uber ugly and my poor friends still get them in the mail. LOL.

Title of work: Bear Tree

Medium: Recycled cardboard, recycled envelopes, thread and recycled ang pows.

Watching Top Gear while making the cards. Love the show!

To cheer up a cousin far far away.

No wonder the spare kitchen sponges were missing. Those are from 3M, very good quality sponges.
