An Indian Wedding and Nails

Sorry for the late posting! Came back from KL from KR’s wedding. Did nails for about 6 people there 🙂 Hope they liked it. Anyways, without further ado, the nails of the main character, KR, who would be wearing a gold and turqoise sari. Classic french manicure with gold outline. Her blue punjabi suit was made for her 10 years ago and it still fits like a glove!

KR’s pedicure is a nude base with gold tip. The toe is accented with a flower and butterfly, which kinda signifies a transformation into a new chapter of her life.

During the wedding dinner, instead of a speech, they had a poem with KR gesturing to the content. Really lovely.

Did nails for KR’s aunties, mom and friends. I didn’t manage to take pictures of them but I did a sample on my nails. From left: KR’s auntie, purplish pink base with silver tinsel overlay; KR’s mom, Dark red base with gold/silver glitter; KR’s neighbour, Ashween (I think I spell wrongly), tinsel base with gold art.

Another auntie had classic french manicure and Auntie Manjit had a pedicure done with the blue graduation.

During this trip, I learnt so much about the indian culture and ate so much yummy food. I really like to thank KR’s family for inviting me and Auntie Manjit’s family for hosting me. You all were wonderful!!!
